Responsibility
- Oversee and coordinate daily machinery operations to ensure smooth and efficient production processes.
- Monitor and schedule regular maintenance and repair works to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Manage inventory of tools, spare parts, and machinery components, ensuring availability and proper storage.
- Supervise and mentor a team of technicians and operators, providing guidance and training to enhance performance.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and compliance standards to maintain a secure working environment.
- Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues and recommend solutions.
- Collaborate with other departments to align operational activities with production goals and timelines.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and operational performance metrics.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in machinery supervision, maintenance, or a related field in manufacturing or logistics.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
- Strong technical knowledge of machinery operations, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and best practices for tool and spare parts organization.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Certification in occupational health and safety (OHS) or a related field is a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using maintenance management software and Microsoft Office tools.
