Responsibility
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and repair faults in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other M&E systems.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and calibration of equipment to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement system upgrades and improvements.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of spare parts.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards in all technical operations.
- Provide technical support and training to junior staff and stakeholders as needed.
- Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and implement corrective actions.
Qualifications
- Diploma or certification in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as an M&E Technician or similar role in a commercial or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical wiring, plumbing, and control systems.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and maintenance software.
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid certification in electrical or mechanical safety (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH) is a plus.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and on-call shifts.
