As an M&E Site Supervisor, you will oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring compliance with international standards and local regulations. Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate M&E installation works on-site, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of mechanical (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection) and electrical (power distribution, lighting, control systems) installations.
- Liaise with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to procure materials and ensure timely delivery of M&E components.
- Review and approve M&E shop drawings, method statements, and risk assessments in alignment with project specifications.
- Monitor compliance with safety protocols (OSHA, local regulations) and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks.
- Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and present updates to project managers and stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and propose cost-effective solutions to maintain project momentum.
- Ensure all M&E systems are tested, commissioned, and handed over with complete documentation.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in M&E supervision for construction, preferably in high-rise buildings, hotels, or commercial projects.
- Proven track record of managing M&E installations in compliance with SNIs (Indonesian National Standards) or international codes (IEC, NEC, ASHRAE).
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or BIM software for reviewing technical drawings.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to manage multicultural teams.
- Familiarity with Bali’s construction regulations and permitting processes is a plus.
- Certifications in Project Management (PMP) or Safety (OSHA 30) are advantageous.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali or commute to project sites in Badung and surrounding areas.
