Responsibility
- Prepare and analyze cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents for M&E projects.
- Conduct cost planning and value engineering to optimize project expenses.
- Manage contract administration, including variations, claims, and final accounts.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure cost-effective solutions.
- Monitor project expenditures and provide regular financial reports to stakeholders.
- Evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations to ensure competitive pricing.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably in M&E projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, cost management, and procurement processes.
- Proficiency in quantity surveying software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with local and international construction standards.
- Professional certification (e.g., RICS, BQSM) is a plus.
