Responsibility
- Supervise and monitor all Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) construction works on site to ensure adherence to contract specifications, drawings, and quality standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections and progress reviews, identifying potential issues and implementing timely corrective actions.
- Coordinate effectively with contractors, consultants, vendors, and internal project teams to ensure seamless project execution and resolve technical matters.
- Review and verify M&E design submissions, shop drawings, and material specifications for compliance with project requirements and statutory regulations.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive progress reports, site reports, and documentation related to M&E works.
- Assist in managing project timelines, resources, and budget allocations for M&E installations.
- Ensure all M&E works comply with relevant safety regulations and environmental standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant working experience in M&E project supervision or project management, preferably within the property development or construction industry.
- Solid understanding of M&E systems, installations, and construction processes.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with various stakeholders.
- Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities and a proactive approach to issue resolution.
- Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and quality standards in Malaysia.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of AutoCAD or project management software is an advantage.
