Responsibility
- Oversee day-to-day mechanical and electrical (M&E) operations, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with local regulations.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to execute maintenance, repairs, and upgrades.
- Conduct regular inspections of M&E systems, identifying potential issues and implementing preventive measures.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols, including fire safety, electrical safety, and emergency response procedures.
- Develop and maintain documentation for M&E systems, including logs, reports, and compliance records.
- Lead emergency response efforts, including troubleshooting and resolving critical M&E failures.
- Collaborate with project managers to support new installations, renovations, and system enhancements.
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior staff and facility personnel.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in M&E maintenance, preferably in commercial or hospitality settings.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian electrical and mechanical safety standards (e.g., PLN, SNI).
- Proven ability to manage contractors, budgets, and maintenance schedules.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in emergency situations.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems), and AutoCAD.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia; additional languages are a plus.
- Willingness to work a 5.5-day week and respond to after-hours emergencies as needed.
