We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive M&E Design Coordinator to join our dynamic engineering team in Tai Seng. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in the technical coordination, design integration, and onsite implementation of Mechanical & Electrical systems for high-profile construction projects.
The successful candidate will bridge the gap between design consultants and site teams, ensuring that all M&E installations align with project specifications, regulatory standards, and sustainability goals. Responsibility
- Coordinate and integrate M&E design drawings with Architectural and Structural teams to resolve clashes early in the construction phase.
- Manage technical submissions and ensure compliance with BCA Green Mark requirements and sustainability benchmarks.
- Supervise onsite M&E works to ensure installations strictly adhere to approved drawings and project specifications.
- Work closely with contractors and consultants to optimize M&E services layouts in PPVC-based projects.
- Monitor B-Score/C-Score project metrics and document performance data for reporting.
- Attend design and site meetings to address technical queries and expedite onsite problem-solving.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure workmanship quality and adherence to safety and building codes.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering.
- Proven experience as an M&E Coordinator or equivalent role within the Singapore construction industry.
- In-depth knowledge of PPVC construction methods and associated design workflows.
- Strong familiarity with BCA Green Mark certification processes and requirements.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, BIM/Revit, and MS Office Suite.
- Ability to interpret complex technical drawings and perform site-based troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholder expectations effectively.
