Responsibility
- Attend and lead site meetings with consultants, architects, and contractors to align on M&E requirements and timelines.
- Review and interpret M&E drawings, schematics, and specifications to ensure compliance with project standards and local regulations.
- Coordinate mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) installations, resolving conflicts and optimizing system integration.
- Monitor project progress, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies to avoid delays or cost overruns.
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to procure high-quality M&E materials and equipment within budget.
- Conduct quality inspections and testing of M&E systems pre- and post-installation to meet safety and performance standards.
- Prepare and maintain detailed reports, including progress updates, RFIs (Request for Information), and as-built documentation.
- Ensure adherence to sustainability and energy-efficiency best practices in all M&E designs and implementations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., PMP, LEED) is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in M&E coordination for construction or development projects, preferably in Southeast Asia.
- Proficient in reading M&E drawings, BIM models, and technical specifications (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools).
- Strong knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards (e.g., SNI, IES, NEC).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to bridge gaps between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with sustainable design principles and green building certifications (e.g., Green Mark, EDGE).
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous.
