Responsibility
- Review and analyze M&E design drawings to ensure full compliance with project specifications and local building codes.
- Identify and resolve design clashes through effective coordination with consultants, subcontractors, and the project team.
- Monitor and supervise M&E works on-site to ensure they are executed according to the approved designs and schedule.
- Liaise with relevant authorities and utility providers for necessary inspections and clearances.
- Manage technical submissions, method statements, and shop drawings for client approval.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and safety standards are maintained.
- Attend project meetings to provide updates on M&E progress and highlight technical risks.
Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related building services discipline.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in M&E coordination within the construction industry in Singapore.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and BIM/Revit software for design review and coordination.
- In-depth knowledge of local building regulations, fire safety codes, and BCA requirements.
- Ability to interpret complex M&E schematics and architectural drawings.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for stakeholder management.
- Proactive problem-solver with the ability to manage tight project deadlines.
