Responsibility
- Oversee and manage the receiving, inspection, and documentation of all deliveries to the resort, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Verify the accuracy of shipments against purchase orders, invoices, and delivery notes, resolving discrepancies promptly.
- Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and internal departments to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods and services.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all incoming shipments, including inventory logs and storage documentation.
- Inspect goods for quality, quantity, and condition, rejecting substandard items and initiating return processes when necessary.
- Collaborate with the procurement and finance teams to ensure cost-effective purchasing and budget adherence.
- Uphold strict hygiene and sanitation standards in all receiving areas, in line with St. Regis and local health regulations.
- Train and supervise receiving staff, fostering a culture of accountability, efficiency, and exceptional service.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a receiving, logistics, or inventory management role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, inventory control, and vendor management.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with suppliers, colleagues, and management.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by operational needs.
