Join PERSOL, a leading global staffing and recruitment agency, as a Luxury Goods Valuer in Bali’s thriving luxury retail market. This exclusive role offers the opportunity to work with high-net-worth clients, assessing and acquiring premium luxury items in some of Bali’s most prestigious retail environments, including Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, Kuta, and Badung.
As a Luxury Goods Valuer, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity and reputation of luxury brands by providing accurate, expert valuations of high-end products such as designer handbags, watches, jewelry, and fine art. Your keen eye for detail, deep knowledge of luxury markets, and exceptional customer service skills will ensure seamless transactions and build long-term client relationships.
This is a full-time position with a competitive salary package of $4,000 – $6,000 per month, reflecting the expertise and precision required for the role. Responsibility
- Conduct thorough and accurate appraisals of luxury goods, including designer handbags, watches, jewelry, and fine art, ensuring compliance with brand standards and market values.
- Assess the authenticity, condition, and market value of items presented by clients, providing detailed reports and recommendations for acquisition or resale.
- Collaborate with luxury retail teams to facilitate seamless transactions, including purchases, consignments, and trade-ins, while maintaining the highest level of professionalism.
- Stay updated on global luxury market trends, including pricing fluctuations, emerging brands, and collector demand, to provide informed valuations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with high-net-worth clients, offering personalized service and expert advice to enhance their luxury retail experience.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure inventory accuracy, proper documentation, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client inquiries, resolving disputes, and ensuring a positive and memorable interaction with the brand.
- Participate in training and development programs to refine appraisal techniques and expand knowledge of luxury goods and market dynamics.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in luxury goods valuation, retail, or a related field, with a strong understanding of high-end brands and market trends.
- Expertise in authenticating luxury items, including designer handbags, watches, jewelry, and fine art, with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with high-net-worth clients and internal teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on accuracy and precision in valuations and reporting.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Mandarin, French, Japanese) are a plus for serving international clients.
- Professional certification in gemology, horology, or luxury goods appraisal (e.g., GIA, FGA, AWCI) is highly desirable.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, client-facing environment while maintaining composure and delivering exceptional service.
