Responsibility
- Lead and manage all laboratory operations, including lubricant testing, quality control, and product development, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies.
- Develop, optimize, and validate new lubricant formulations to meet market demands and performance requirements.
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of advanced testing methodologies and laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, production, and supply chain, to align laboratory activities with business objectives.
- Monitor and analyze test results, providing actionable insights to improve product performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in all laboratory operations.
- Mentor, train, and develop laboratory staff to foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key findings, trends, and recommendations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field; a Master’s or Ph.D. is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in lubricant testing, formulation, or quality control, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Proven expertise in lubricant analysis, rheology, tribology, and performance testing.
- Strong knowledge of ASTM, ISO, and other industry standards related to lubricant testing and quality assurance.
- Experience with laboratory information management systems (LIMS) and advanced analytical instruments (e.g., viscometers, spectrometers, chromatographs).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and projects.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is an advantage.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines without compromising quality.
