Responsibility
- Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on LPG terminal equipment, including pumps, valves, pipelines, and storage tanks.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards in accordance with industry regulations.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and ensure continuous terminal operations.
- Assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment or systems at the terminal.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and incident reports using digital or manual logging systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, operators, and safety personnel, to optimize terminal performance.
- Conduct emergency response procedures in case of leaks, spills, or other hazardous situations, following established protocols.
- Participate in training programs to stay updated on industry best practices, new technologies, and safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar technician role, preferably in the oil and gas, LPG, or energy sector.
- Strong knowledge of LPG terminal operations, safety protocols, and maintenance procedures.
- Hands-on experience with industrial equipment, tools, and diagnostic instruments.
- Certification in occupational health and safety (e.g., OSHA, HSE) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills in English (written and verbal) to collaborate effectively with international teams.
- Willingness to work in shift patterns and adapt to operational demands.
