Responsibility
- Oversee daily logistics operations, including booking, shipment coordination, and documentation management.
- Develop and implement cost-effective transportation strategies to optimize delivery schedules.
- Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with suppliers, carriers, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and safe delivery of goods.
- Manage inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse teams to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
- Ensure compliance with local and international transportation regulations and company policies.
- Lead initiatives to reduce transportation costs while maintaining service quality.
- Prepare and present reports on logistics performance to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management.
- Strong knowledge of transportation regulations, customs procedures, and incoterms.
- Proven ability to negotiate with vendors and manage carrier relationships.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to optimize logistics processes.
- Proficiency in logistics software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
