Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping inventory.
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of warehouse staff to achieve performance targets and maintain high productivity.
- Ensure accurate inventory management by conducting regular stock checks, audits, and cycle counts.
- Implement and enforce safety, security, and compliance protocols to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflows to improve efficiency, reduce errors, and minimize operational costs.
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and sales teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment and delivery.
- Prepare and maintain detailed reports on warehouse performance, including KPIs, inventory levels, and incident logs.
- Resolve operational issues promptly and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse supervision or logistics management, preferably in manufacturing or distribution.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control best practices.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with safety regulations (OSHA, ISO, or local standards) and quality control processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and ERP software is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays, as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
