Responsibility
- Coordinate and oversee the procurement of materials, equipment, and services to meet operational requirements.
- Manage inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimizing waste.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to negotiate favorable terms and ensure timely deliveries.
- Monitor and analyze logistics performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures related to logistics and procurement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and plan for future logistics needs.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports related to logistics, sustainment, and procurement activities.
- Implement sustainability initiatives to reduce environmental impact and promote responsible resource management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in logistics, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in a similar role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using logistics and procurement software, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards in logistics and procurement.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
