Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping inventory.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of warehouse staff to ensure high productivity and efficiency.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols, inventory accuracy standards, and quality control measures.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflows to minimize operational costs and maximize space utilization.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order fulfillment speed, accuracy, and inventory turnover.
- Collaborate with procurement, production, and distribution teams to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
- Resolve logistical challenges and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring issues.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and health & safety standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in warehouse supervision or logistics management.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with a focus on staff development.
- Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory tracking tools.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of lean logistics principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with health & safety regulations in warehouse operations.
