Responsibility
- Oversee the daily operations of the fleet, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to schedules.
- Develop and implement fleet management strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery.
- Monitor fleet maintenance schedules, ensuring all vehicles are serviced and compliant with safety regulations.
- Analyze route efficiency and implement improvements to reduce fuel consumption and delivery times.
- Manage relationships with vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless logistics operations.
- Track and report on fleet performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with local and international logistics regulations, including licensing and insurance requirements.
- Lead and mentor a team of logistics professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in fleet management or logistics operations, preferably in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of fleet maintenance, route optimization, and logistics software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Proven leadership abilities, with experience managing and developing teams.
