Responsibility
- Oversee and optimize inbound and outbound logistics operations to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of logistics staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement logistics strategies, policies, and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and internal stakeholders to streamline transportation and warehouse activities.
- Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with local and international regulations, as well as company standards for safety and quality.
- Manage inventory levels, warehouse space utilization, and distribution processes to meet demand and minimize costs.
- Leverage technology and data analytics to drive innovation and automation in logistics processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics, warehouse management, or supply chain operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of logistics software, ERP systems, and inventory management tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with local and international shipping regulations, customs procedures, and documentation.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
