As the Logistics Inbound Executive, you will be responsible for managing the inbound logistics processes, ensuring the timely and cost-effective receipt of raw materials and supplies. Responsibility
- Oversee the inbound logistics process, including the receipt, inspection, and storage of raw materials and supplies.
- Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs agents to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.
- Monitor inventory levels and work with procurement teams to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
- Utilize logistics software and ERP systems to track shipments, manage documentation, and generate reports.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings in the inbound logistics workflow.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, production, and quality assurance, to align logistics operations with business objectives.
- Resolve any issues related to shipments, delays, or discrepancies in a timely and efficient manner.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in inbound logistics, supply chain management, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of logistics processes, inventory management, and supply chain principles.
- Proficiency in using logistics software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Knowledge of customs regulations, import/export procedures, and international shipping is a plus.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
