As a Batch Weighing Officer, you will oversee the accurate dispensing, weighing, and traceability of raw materials, ensuring seamless workflows and real-time inventory control. Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate manpower allocation for batch weighing and dispensing operations to optimize productivity.
- Ensure accurate identification, weighing, and tagging of raw materials to maintain flawless traceability.
- Monitor and maintain real-time inventory records, reconciling discrepancies and reporting variances.
- Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for material handling, weighing, and storage.
- Collaborate with quality control teams to verify material specifications and compliance with industry standards.
- Operate and calibrate weighing equipment, ensuring accuracy and adherence to safety protocols.
- Generate detailed reports on material usage, inventory levels, and batch processing for management review.
- Train and mentor staff on best practices in material handling, weighing techniques, and inventory management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Chemistry, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in batch weighing, inventory control, or material management within manufacturing or logistics.
- Strong knowledge of weighing systems, inventory software, and ERP systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills to ensure accuracy in material traceability.
- Proven ability to lead teams, delegate tasks, and manage workflows efficiently.
- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and ISO standards is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and data management tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments.
