Join Panasonic Industrial Devices as a Logistics Executive and play a pivotal role in optimizing our global supply chain operations. Responsibility
- Oversee daily import/export operations, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and customs requirements.
- Optimize shipping schedules and routes to minimize costs and maximize delivery efficiency.
- Coordinate with internal teams (procurement, production, warehousing) and external 3PL providers to ensure timely movement of goods.
- Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics, identifying areas for process improvement.
- Manage inventory levels and storage solutions to align with production demands and customer orders.
- Resolve logistics-related issues, including delays, documentation errors, or carrier discrepancies.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers.
- Prepare and present reports on logistics KPIs, costs, and operational efficiencies to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in logistics, preferably within the manufacturing or industrial sector.
- Proven expertise in import/export operations, customs clearance, and international shipping regulations.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems, WMS (Warehouse Management Systems), and logistics software.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills with a data-driven mindset.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal); proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with Incoterms, HS codes, and trade compliance is highly advantageous.
