Responsibility

  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing excess.
  • Liaise with suppliers to negotiate terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.
  • Process purchase orders and track shipments to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Coordinate with warehouse and production teams to align procurement with operational needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend process improvements.
  • Resolve discrepancies between orders and deliveries, ensuring accuracy and accountability.
  • Assist in forecasting demand and planning procurement activities to support business growth.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or inventory management.
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and familiarity with ERP or inventory management systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain supplier relationships.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing or logistics industries is a plus.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian) are advantageous.
