Responsibility
- Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Perform routine and non-routine tests using specialized equipment to identify defects or deviations.
- Document and report inspection results, including any non-conformities, and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement process improvements.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and quality metrics for auditing purposes.
- Calibrate and maintain testing equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Assist in the development and revision of quality control procedures and work instructions.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Diploma or equivalent in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in quality control, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Familiarity with quality standards and regulations (e.g., ISO, ASTM).
- Proficient in using inspection tools and testing equipment.
- Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Certification in quality control (e.g., CQT, CQI) is a plus.
