Responsibility
- Manage and process Letters of Credit (LC), including negotiations, applications, and amendments with banks and financial institutions.
- Prepare and verify shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading, Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, and Certificates of Origin.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and export/import laws.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs brokers to facilitate timely cargo movement.
- Liaise with internal departments (e.g., Sales, Finance, Warehouse) to align logistics operations with business objectives.
- Monitor and resolve discrepancies in shipping documents to prevent delays or penalties.
- Maintain accurate records of all logistics transactions, LCs, and trade-related correspondence.
- Identify opportunities to optimize logistics costs and improve process efficiencies.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics, international trade, or export documentation, preferably in manufacturing or trading industries.
- In-depth knowledge of LC procedures, Incoterms 2020, and international shipping regulations.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and logistics software (e.g., ERP systems).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English (written and verbal).
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with Indonesian customs procedures and trade compliance is a plus.
