We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Executive – Import/Export & Trade Documentation to manage international shipments and trade compliance for businesses in Bali, Indonesia (Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, Kuta, Badung).
In this critical role, you will oversee the end-to-end logistics process, from purchase order to final delivery, ensuring seamless cross-border transactions. Responsibility
- Coordinate and monitor international shipments from purchase order to final delivery, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution.
- Prepare, review, and manage trade documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and certificates of origin.
- Handle Letter of Credit (LC) requirements, ensuring compliance with banking and regulatory standards to avoid discrepancies.
- Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and shipping lines to resolve logistics issues and optimize routing.
- Ensure compliance with import/export regulations, tariffs, and trade agreements (e.g., ASEAN, WTO) to avoid penalties or delays.
- Track shipment status, update stakeholders, and provide real-time reports on logistics performance and potential risks.
- Maintain accurate records of all trade documents, contracts, and communications for auditing and reference purposes.
- Collaborate with procurement, finance, and operations teams to align logistics strategies with business objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in import/export logistics, trade documentation, or supply chain operations.
- Proficient in managing Letters of Credit (LC), Incoterms, and customs clearance procedures.
- Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, tariffs, and compliance requirements (e.g., ASEAN, WTO, Indonesian customs laws).
- Experience with logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or ERP systems) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills to liaise with vendors, clients, and regulatory bodies.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin) are a plus.
