Responsibility
- Coordinate and manage global freight operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
- Liaise with carriers, suppliers, and internal teams to optimize logistics processes and resolve any issues.
- Monitor and track shipments, providing real-time updates to stakeholders and ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Analyze logistics data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including shipping records, invoices, and customs paperwork.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align logistics strategies with business objectives.
- Ensure adherence to safety, security, and environmental standards in all logistics activities.
- Provide support in negotiating contracts and rates with freight forwarders and service providers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics, freight management, or supply chain operations.
- Strong understanding of global freight processes, including air, sea, and land transportation.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
- Proficient in logistics software and tools, such as ERP systems, TMS, or WMS.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of customs regulations and international trade compliance is a plus.
