Responsibility
- Safely operate and maintain company vehicles (trucks, vans, or other logistics vehicles) for the transportation of goods.
- Ensure timely pick-up and delivery of shipments according to scheduled routes and customer requirements.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to verify roadworthiness and report any mechanical issues.
- Maintain accurate logs of travel times, distances, fuel consumption, and delivery confirmations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations to prevent accidents and delays.
- Assist with loading and unloading cargo, ensuring proper handling and secure stowage.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues.
- Perform minor vehicle maintenance (e.g., checking fluids, tire pressure) and report major repairs to the fleet manager.
Qualifications
- Valid Indonesian SIM A or SIM B driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience as a professional driver, preferably in logistics or freight transportation.
- Familiarity with Bali’s roads, including routes in Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, and Kuta.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle safety protocols, defensive driving, and basic mechanical troubleshooting.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 25 kg) as needed for loading/unloading.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to meet tight delivery schedules.
- Basic English or Indonesian communication skills for coordination with team members and clients.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends as required.
