Responsibility
- Oversee end-to-end import and export logistics, including documentation, shipping coordination, and delivery tracking.
- Ensure full compliance with customs regulations, tariffs, and international trade laws for seamless cross-border transactions.
- Prepare and submit accurate customs declarations, invoices, and permits to avoid delays or penalties.
- Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and government agencies to expedite clearance processes.
- Monitor and optimize supply chain costs, including duties, taxes, and transportation expenses.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of trade agreements, tariff classifications, and regulatory changes affecting imports/exports.
- Resolve logistics-related issues, such as delivery discrepancies, customs holds, or documentation errors.
- Collaborate with procurement, warehousing, and finance teams to align logistics strategies with business objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in import/export logistics, customs compliance, or freight forwarding.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian and international customs regulations, including HS codes and trade compliance.
- Proven experience with customs documentation (e.g., bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists).
- Strong proficiency in logistics software, ERP systems, or customs management platforms.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret trade laws and optimize supply chain processes.
- Certifications in Customs Brokerage, CIPS, or CSCP are highly advantageous.
