Join Goertek as a Logistics & Customs Manager and play a pivotal role in establishing and managing our logistics operations in Bali. This position is ideal for a strategic thinker with expertise in customs compliance, duty-free regulations, and cross-border logistics. You will bridge the gap between our China HQ and local authorities, ensuring seamless operations and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
As a key leader in our logistics team, you will oversee the setup of our Johor LMW (Licensed Manufacturing Warehouse) operations, manage tax exemptions, and ensure all customs procedures are followed meticulously. Your role will be critical in optimizing our supply chain, reducing costs, and maintaining strong relationships with government agencies and stakeholders.

Responsibility
- Lead the setup and management of Johor LMW operations, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
- Manage duty-free and tax exemption processes, optimizing cost savings for the company.
- Act as the primary liaison between China HQ and local authorities, ensuring smooth communication and compliance.
- Develop and implement logistics strategies to enhance supply chain efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Oversee customs clearance processes, ensuring timely and accurate documentation and compliance.
- Monitor and report on logistics performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, customs officials, and other stakeholders.
- Train and mentor logistics and customs team members, fostering a culture of compliance and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics, customs compliance, or supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing or international trade environment.
- In-depth knowledge of customs regulations, duty-free processes, and tax exemptions in Indonesia and Malaysia.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to optimize logistics operations.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven leadership abilities, with experience managing and developing teams.
- Fluency in English and Mandarin is a plus, given the role's interaction with China HQ.
- Proficiency in logistics software and ERP systems is highly desirable.
