Responsibility
- Manage and optimize delivery schedules to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation of goods.
- Prepare and verify logistics documentation, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs paperwork.
- Maintain accurate records and databases for inventory, shipments, and delivery statuses.
- Coordinate with drivers, vendors, and customers to resolve logistics-related issues and ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor shipment tracking and provide real-time updates to stakeholders.
- Assist in route planning to minimize transit times and reduce operational costs.
- Conduct regular audits of logistics processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align logistics activities with business objectives.
Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma or Bachelorās degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience (1-3 years) in logistics administration, supply chain, or operations within manufacturing or transport sectors.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and logistics management software.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Superb communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic accounting principles is a plus.
