Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to assess visual acuity, refractive errors, and ocular health.
- Prescribe and fit corrective lenses, including glasses and contact lenses, tailored to individual patient needs.
- Diagnose and manage common eye conditions such as dry eye, conjunctivitis, and glaucoma.
- Provide pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgeries or treatments.
- Educate patients on eye health, preventive care, and proper use of corrective devices.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with clinical standards.
- Collaborate with ophthalmologists and other healthcare professionals for referrals and co-management of complex cases.
- Stay current with advancements in optometric technology and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Optometry or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution.
- Valid and active optometry license or registration in Indonesia (or eligibility to obtain one).
- Proven experience as an Optometrist, preferably in a clinical or retail setting.
- Strong knowledge of optometric instruments, diagnostic tools, and corrective lens fitting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to delivering patient-centered care with a focus on accuracy and professionalism.
