Responsibility
- Greet and register patients, verifying personal and insurance information with accuracy.
- Manage patient appointments, including scheduling, rescheduling, and confirming via phone or digital platforms.
- Maintain electronic health records (EHR) and ensure all patient data is updated and confidential.
- Assist medical staff with clinical preparations, such as setting up examination rooms and sterilizing equipment.
- Handle billing inquiries, process payments, and provide receipts or invoices as needed.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure smooth patient flow and minimal wait times.
- Address patient inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy.
- Perform administrative duties, including filing, faxing, and managing clinic correspondence.
Qualifications
- Diploma or certificate in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a healthcare, clinic, or customer service environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in English (additional languages a plus).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with EHR/EMR systems.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
