Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify functional limitations and therapeutic needs.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s goals and conditions.
- Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions to improve motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily living activities.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including doctors, nurses, and social workers, to ensure holistic patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on adaptive techniques, home modifications, and assistive devices.
- Document patient progress accurately and maintain up-to-date clinical records in compliance with hospital standards.
- Participate in community outreach programs to promote health awareness and preventive care.
- Stay current with evidence-based practices and emerging trends in occupational therapy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Valid license or registration to practice as an Occupational Therapist in Indonesia (or eligibility to obtain one).
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in occupational therapy, preferably in a hospital or community setting.
- Strong knowledge of therapeutic interventions for a variety of conditions (e.g., stroke, pediatric disorders, mental health).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to diverse patient needs in a locum capacity.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
