Responsibility
- Assist healthcare professionals with patient intake, vital signs measurement, and preliminary assessments.
- Manage patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in all documentation.
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms, sterilizing equipment and restocking supplies as needed.
- Coordinate appointment schedules and communicate effectively with patients and staff.
- Provide administrative support, including filing, data entry, and handling patient inquiries.
- Assist with basic medical procedures under the supervision of licensed practitioners.
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for clinical supplies when necessary.
- Uphold strict hygiene and safety protocols to maintain a clean and secure environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Clinic Assistant, Medical Assistant, or in a similar healthcare support role.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or equivalent is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and staff.
- Proficiency in medical terminology and basic clinical procedures.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is advantageous.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings, as required.
