Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for patients, including medical history, dietary habits, and anthropometric measurements.
- Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans tailored to patients' medical conditions, lifestyle, and recovery goals.
- Provide medical nutrition therapy for conditions such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, renal disorders, and gastrointestinal issues.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to integrate nutrition into overall patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families on healthy eating habits, portion control, and dietary modifications for long-term wellness.
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting nutrition plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Stay updated on the latest research and trends in clinical nutrition to enhance practice and patient care.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Licensed or registered as a Nutritionist-Dietitian in Indonesia (or eligible for licensure).
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital, healthcare facility, or similar setting.
- Strong knowledge of medical nutrition therapy, dietary guidelines, and food science.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively counsel patients and collaborate with healthcare teams.
- Proficiency in using nutrition assessment tools and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and adherence to ethical standards in dietetics.
