Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify physical, cognitive, and emotional limitations affecting daily living.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to patientsâ goals, using evidence-based occupational therapy techniques.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
- Educate patients and families on adaptive strategies, home modifications, and assistive devices to promote independence.
- Document patient progress, outcomes, and treatment adjustments in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
- Provide rehabilitation support for conditions such as stroke, trauma, orthopedic injuries, and neurological disorders.
- Participate in team meetings and case conferences to optimize patient care plans.
- Stay current with advancements in occupational therapy through continuous professional development.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Valid license or registration to practice as an Occupational Therapist in Indonesia (or eligibility to obtain one).
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital, rehabilitation center, or similar setting.
- Proven expertise in assessing and treating a diverse caseload, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Familiarity with assistive technologies and adaptive equipment used in occupational therapy.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to fast-paced, multicultural environments.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Indonesian (Bahasa) is a plus.
