The Municipal Government of Balabagan, Lanao Del Sur, is seeking a dedicated and proactive Local Disaster Risk Reduction Management Assistant to join our team in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM). In this vital role, you will support the LDRRM Office in implementing strategies to build community resilience, enhance disaster preparedness, and ensure rapid response during emergencies.

Responsibility
- Assist in the formulation and implementation of the Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Plan (LDRRMP).
- Coordinate with local barangay units to ensure the effective delivery of disaster preparedness programs.
- Maintain accurate records, incident reports, and databases related to disaster events and mitigation efforts.
- Participate in the conduct of regular disaster simulation drills, community training, and orientation programs.
- Provide administrative support for the procurement and inventory management of disaster relief and rescue equipment.
- Assist in the monitoring and evaluation of hazard-prone areas within the municipality.
- Prepare documentation and briefing materials for the LDRRM Council meetings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Social Science, Environmental Management, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in disaster management, community development, or government operations is highly preferred.
- Strong organizational, administrative, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and data management systems.
- Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure during emergency situations.
- Deep understanding of the local culture and geography of the Lanao Del Sur region.
- Must be a Filipino citizen; preference given to residents of Balabagan or surrounding areas.
