Responsibility
- Manage and monitor accounts receivable for auto and workers' compensation litigation cases.
- Ensure accurate and timely billing, invoicing, and collections in compliance with legal and company policies.
- Collaborate with legal teams to resolve billing disputes and ensure proper documentation.
- Reconcile AR accounts and prepare detailed reports for management review.
- Communicate with clients, attorneys, and internal stakeholders to facilitate smooth payment processes.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance AR efficiency and reduce outstanding receivables.
- Maintain up-to-date records of all transactions and correspondence related to litigation AR.
- Assist in audits and provide supporting documentation as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable, preferably in a litigation or legal environment.
- Strong understanding of auto and workers' compensation billing processes.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in financial record-keeping.
- Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures is a plus.
