Responsibility
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with local regulations and company policies.
- Process invoices, expense reports, and payments while ensuring timely and accurate disbursement of funds.
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis to support financial planning and decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including VAT/GST filings, withholding taxes, and other statutory requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounting processes and implement best practices for financial controls.
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reports to management as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Experience working in a remote or international environment is highly desirable.
