Responsibility
- Lead and supervise a team of linemen in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical power lines, telecommunication cables, and utility infrastructure.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute field operations, including project timelines, resource allocation, and equipment utilization.
- Conduct regular inspections of power lines, poles, and related equipment to identify and address potential hazards or malfunctions.
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and clients to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders.
- Train and mentor junior linemen, providing guidance on best practices, safety procedures, and technical skills.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and incident reports for compliance and auditing purposes.
- Respond to emergency outages and service requests, ensuring rapid and effective resolution to minimize downtime.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a lineman, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Proven expertise in electrical power distribution, overhead/underground line installation, and utility maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA safety standards, PPE requirements, and electrical codes (e.g., NEC, local regulations).
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and work orders.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to manage teams and resolve field challenges.
- Physical fitness and ability to work in outdoor, high-elevation, or confined spaces for extended periods.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to various job sites in Bali.
- Certification in electrical safety, first aid, or CPR is a plus.
