Responsibility
- Manage end-to-end import and export shipments, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and timely delivery.
- Prepare and verify shipping documents, including invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and customs declarations.
- Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to coordinate logistics and resolve shipment-related issues.
- Maintain accurate records and databases for inventory, procurement, and shipment tracking.
- Collaborate with the inventory department to align procurement with stock levels and production demands.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to secure cost-effective and high-quality materials.
- Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Communicate effectively in Mandarin and English to facilitate smooth transactions with international partners.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Proven experience (2+ years) in purchasing, procurement, or international trade, preferably in manufacturing or logistics.
- Fluency in Mandarin (written and spoken) is mandatory; proficiency in English is required.
- Strong knowledge of import/export procedures, customs regulations, and shipping documentation.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills for dealing with global suppliers and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and ERP systems for procurement and inventory management.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
