Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate daily packing operations to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of packing staff to ensure high productivity and quality output.
- Monitor packing line performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks or inefficiencies.
- Enforce strict adherence to safety, hygiene, and quality control standards in all packing processes.
- Conduct regular inspections of packed products to ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
- Maintain accurate records of production output, downtime, and material usage for reporting.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., production, warehouse) to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance packing line performance and reduce waste.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a packing, production, or manufacturing environment, with at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Proven ability to lead teams, delegate tasks, and drive results in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong understanding of packing line operations, quality control, and safety protocols in manufacturing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage and motivate staff.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to troubleshoot operational issues quickly.
- Basic computer literacy for data entry, reporting, and inventory management.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift/move heavy items as needed.
- Familiarity with food manufacturing or flour milling is a plus.
