Responsibility
- Prepare and cook ingredients for Korean-Western fusion dishes according to standardized recipes.
- Assist in the pre-opening setup, including kitchen organization, equipment testing, and menu trials.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and efficient workspace in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the head chef and team to ensure timely, high-quality dish preparation during service.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to the kitchen manager.
- Follow portion control and plating guidelines to maintain consistency and presentation standards.
- Adapt to menu changes and special requests while upholding flavor and quality.
- Participate in staff training and contribute ideas for menu improvement.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Line Cook, Prep Cook, or similar role in a restaurant or hotel (1+ years preferred).
- Familiarity with Korean, Western, or fusion cuisine is a strong plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on teamwork and efficiency.
- Strong knife skills and knowledge of basic cooking techniques (sautéing, grilling, frying, etc.).
- Excellent attention to detail, especially in food presentation and hygiene.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 kg.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic English proficiency; knowledge of Indonesian or Korean is a bonus.
