This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your skills in hospitality while working in some of Bali’s most sought-after locations, including Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, Kuta, and Badung.
Responsibility
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, including espresso, latte, cappuccino, and specialty drinks, following standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Operate and maintain coffee machines and equipment to ensure optimal performance and cleanliness.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing inquiries with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Educate customers about our brand offerings, including Wall Street English, Genstarkids, and Indies, and promote our products and services.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the coffee bar, seating areas, and storage spaces, adhering to hygiene and safety standards.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other supplies, and assist in restocking as needed.
- Handle cash transactions and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours and special events.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques, including espresso extraction, milk frothing, and latte art.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse customers and team members.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and operating the POS system.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.
- Passion for coffee and a willingness to learn about new trends and techniques in the industry.
- Familiarity with the brands Wall Street English, Genstarkids, and Indies is a plus.
