Responsibility

  • Prepare and cook ingredients according to standardized recipes and special orders.
  • Assist the Chef de Partie in managing food production across assigned kitchen stations.
  • Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and consistency.
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to the kitchen management team.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation in compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure timely and efficient service during peak hours.
  • Follow proper food handling, storage, and rotation procedures to minimize waste.
  • Adapt to menu changes and special dietary requests as needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role within a professional kitchen.
  • Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff.
  • Certification in food safety and hygiene (e.g., HACCP) is a plus.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items (up to 25 kg).
