Responsibility
- Prepare and cook ingredients according to standardized recipes and special orders.
- Assist the Chef de Partie in managing food production across assigned kitchen stations.
- Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and consistency.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to the kitchen management team.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure timely and efficient service during peak hours.
- Follow proper food handling, storage, and rotation procedures to minimize waste.
- Adapt to menu changes and special dietary requests as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role within a professional kitchen.
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff.
- Certification in food safety and hygiene (e.g., HACCP) is a plus.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items (up to 25 kg).
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
