Responsibility
- Prepare and cook food items according to standardized recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Ensure all food items are prepared in a timely manner and meet quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of the kitchen station before and after service.
- Monitor food inventory and communicate supply needs to the kitchen manager.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Contribute to menu development and provide input on new dishes.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role in the hospitality industry.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items.
