In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the safety, reliability, and peak performance of elevator systems for our diverse clientele.
As a Lift Technician, you will work closely with our senior engineers to execute routine maintenance, conduct detailed inspections, and perform rapid-response repairs. Responsibility
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting of lift systems in accordance with safety standards.
- Collaborate closely with Engineers to execute complex repairs and system upgrades efficiently.
- Perform on-site technical assessments to identify potential equipment failures and ensure system uptime.
- Document all maintenance activities, service reports, and parts usage accurately in the company database.
- Respond promptly to emergency breakdown calls to minimize passenger inconvenience and ensure safety.
- Ensure that all work adheres to local Building and Construction Authority (BCA) lift safety regulations.
- Maintain tools and equipment in optimal working condition.
- Provide technical support and clear communication to site management and clients regarding repair status.
Qualifications
- Nitec or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related Engineering field.
- At least 1-2 years of hands-on experience in lift maintenance or relevant electromechanical industrial equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to read technical blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Valid certification as a Lift Technician (or recognized equivalent) is highly preferred.
- Physically fit and comfortable working in various site environments, including shaft work.
- Possess a valid Singapore Class 3 driving license is an added advantage.
- Able to work independently as well as contribute effectively within a technical team.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to standard operating procedures.
