Responsibility

  • Provide first aid and emergency care to students and staff for injuries, illnesses, or medical emergencies.
  • Administer prescribed medications and maintain accurate records of treatments and health services provided.
  • Develop and implement health plans for students with chronic conditions (e.g., asthma, diabetes, allergies).
  • Conduct health screenings (vision, hearing, growth) and maintain up-to-date immunization records in compliance with local and international standards.
  • Educate students, parents, and staff on health-related topics, including hygiene, nutrition, and disease prevention.
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to support students’ physical and emotional well-being.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked health office with necessary medical supplies and equipment.
  • Serve as a liaison between the school, parents, and external healthcare providers when necessary.

Qualifications

  • Valid nursing license (local or international, with eligibility to practice in Indonesia).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in pediatric, school nursing, or emergency care.
  • Certification in First Aid and CPR (current and valid).
  • Strong knowledge of child and adolescent health, including common illnesses and developmental stages.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and staff.
  • Ability to remain calm and decisive in high-pressure or emergency situations.
  • Familiarity with health record management systems and basic administrative tasks.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken); knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is a plus.
