Responsibility
- Provide first aid and emergency care to students and staff for injuries, illnesses, or medical emergencies.
- Administer prescribed medications and maintain accurate records of treatments and health services provided.
- Develop and implement health plans for students with chronic conditions (e.g., asthma, diabetes, allergies).
- Conduct health screenings (vision, hearing, growth) and maintain up-to-date immunization records in compliance with local and international standards.
- Educate students, parents, and staff on health-related topics, including hygiene, nutrition, and disease prevention.
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to support studentsâ physical and emotional well-being.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked health office with necessary medical supplies and equipment.
- Serve as a liaison between the school, parents, and external healthcare providers when necessary.
Qualifications
- Valid nursing license (local or international, with eligibility to practice in Indonesia).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in pediatric, school nursing, or emergency care.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR (current and valid).
- Strong knowledge of child and adolescent health, including common illnesses and developmental stages.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and staff.
- Ability to remain calm and decisive in high-pressure or emergency situations.
- Familiarity with health record management systems and basic administrative tasks.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is a plus.
