Responsibility
- Perform high-quality X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and other diagnostic imaging procedures with precision and care.
- Ensure strict adherence to radiation safety protocols and patient protection standards.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, explaining processes to ensure comfort and cooperation.
- Operate and maintain radiography equipment, troubleshooting technical issues as needed.
- Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to interpret imaging results and provide accurate diagnostic support.
- Maintain detailed patient records, imaging logs, and quality control documentation.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in radiography technology and best practices.
- Provide compassionate patient care, addressing concerns and ensuring a positive experience.
Qualifications
- Malaysian citizenship (mandatory requirement).
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Radiography, Medical Imaging, or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Valid Radiographer license or certification from the Malaysian Radiography Board (or equivalent).
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in diagnostic imaging (fresh graduates with strong academic records may be considered).
- Proficient in operating X-ray, CT, MRI, and ultrasound equipment.
- Strong knowledge of radiation safety, anatomy, and medical terminology.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Malay to interact effectively with patients and healthcare teams.
